Well loved 1985 VW Transporter TRAKKA Camper conversion. I am the fourth owner of the van and it has been regularly serviced (every 6 months) and maintained. We are saving to buy our first home so unfortunately the van has to find a new loving home...

All receipts and proof of work undertaken.
Recent work done:
* New clutch just installed
* Rear engine seals replaced, no oil leaks
* Drivers side ball joints replaced
* Passenger side wheel bearings replaced
* Water pump replaced and coolant renewed
* Spark plugs replaced and engine tuned
* Oil changed and oil filter replaced
* Fuel system flushed and new filters installed
I have records of all mechanical work done and the original service history documents. I also have a Haynes VW Transporter '82-'91 workshop manual, very helpful.
Work that could be done:
* Poptop and canvas could do with some maintenance though it is in working order
* Rear bumper has minor cosmetic blemishes
* Minor rust in typical areas, wouldn't take much to fix if you had time
* Rear seat has had fabric patches sewn in around left corner
* New foam piece purchased for rear of bed would need upholstering if you wanted to match the upholstery of rear seat. Though it is super confy and tidy as is.
* One of the rear number plate light fixtures needs reattaching or replacing, though works fine
Way more positives than negatives with this van. Our friends has done over 600,000km on the same engine and is still going strong. So much life left in this one and is ready to see the rest of Australia! The mechanic advised not to sell as it's in great mechanical condition in his opinion.
Please call if you'd like to check out our van 'Ruth'. Price is negotiable after inspection.
