Do you like your old things to have character like I do? You will love Koby. He's a bit of a rat having been brush painted and the interior kept original with torn seats and wear and tear, but to me, that's what makes him beautiful.

His heart is still there and ticking strong as ever. He still has the original 1200 engine having just received a rebuild and a new clutch only a week ago so he runs as good as new.

He still has his original 6 volt electrics which, yes, aren't as powerful as 12 volt but its all about the original charm. The horn is more of a polite "excuse-me" than a "get out of my way", the headlights are more like candles and the blinkers tick ever so slowly, but that's all part of the charm and originality!

As for the body, he might look a little rough, but his bones are as strong as ever. His floor pans and heater channels are really good and the body is showing no signs of rust even though the paint was applied many years ago.

If you want an early beetle with strong bones that is ready to drive on a daily basis and you love the rat look, then you will definitely love Koby as much as I do.
